Abstract

Various researches propose total quality management (TQM) is likely to improve several
aspects for instant quality performance, business performance, etc. in other hands, a strong quality culture
being documented as a significant criterion to the achievement of persistent competitive advantage to
provide a service or provide products that meet the buyer's requirement. The main purpose of the research
is to define the influence of quality culture on quality management practices and project execution in
construction companies. That is because of the lack of study on the construction filed and the quality
concerns have become the key anxiety in the building companies. Moreover, there is a deficiency of the
study that generates construction quality which leads to quality performing. Largely, the main keys to a
successful construction project are cost, quality, and time. Nonetheless, Quality is a key indicator of the
durability and reliability of the constructed project. However, the issue enveloping quality culture and
their advancement has not been systematically studied especially in construction companies that are being
observed as one of the poor quality importance equated to other areas like the service and manufacturing
sectors. Furthermore, a lot of critiques have been pointed to the construction business for example
provided not approved material and equipment and careless workmanship in order to enhance the margin
of profits. This study reviews various kinds of literature to propose a conceptual framework that gathers
the three main variables (quality ethos, quality managing practices, project performance) to analyze the
relationships among them and to provide the proper framework suite construction sectors. Lastly, the
conclusion has been introduced to support construction companies and the project with the same project
parties. In the academic sense this research aid in the development of concepts for scholars and
practitioners for usage in the sphere of the construction business. Understanding development through this
study will help increase project performance through empirical evidence.
