Abstract

The encryption of images is quickly expanded as of late by the expanding utilization of the web and correspondence media, where the encryption techniques are the suitable methods to protect images from attacks. One of the important encryption techniques is Menezes Vanstone Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem. This paper proposes a new way to encode image using a modification of Menezes Vanstone Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem. According to the proposed algorithm, an image which is under study will divide into blocks containing only two numbers, these two numbers allow us to express them as an order pair, which will be one of the requirements of implementation the Menezes Vanstone Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem.  Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI) will be utilized to survey the image encryption productivity and contrast the encoded image and the original image to assess the exhibition of the proposed encryption method.
