Smart Home Design Based on Hidden Markov Model

Abstract

Smart home integrates a large number of electronic devices, networking devices, forming the application system of intelligent devices under the Internet of things. Voice mode is the most convenient control method. Voice is the most convenient way of interaction, the importance of voice control in smart home is particularly prominent. Therefore, using speech recognition and control technology to control household appliances is an important part of smart home. This paper mainly studies the voice control technology based on Hidden Markov model algorithm (HMM), and realizes the application of this technology in smart home design. The hidden Markov (HMM) model technology is applied to speech recognition. The technology is improved, and the scheme design of smart home system is realized by using this technology. Using speech recognition technology, the control of household electronic equipment is realized indirectly through voice. The test results show that the intelligent home control system can effectively control the household electronic equipment. It has the advantages of convenient installation, low cost and strong practicability, and can easily transform the original home equipment control system.
