Social Network Analysis of COVID-19HOAX on Social Media from Indonesia

Abstract

This study discusses the Hoax Corona Virus (Covid-19) in Indonesia which is increasingly becoming more and more spread from various social media such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram and many people who believe in the hoax so that it causes harm to themselves and the community. The Government of Indonesia together with all elements of society provide proper education about Covid-19 and provide penalties to spreaders of Covid-19 Hoax because it is very unsettling the community. It is hoped that with this research information on the spread of hoaxes can be known and minimized as early as possible so that people can focus on their own health.
