Abstract

In the current context, environmental pollution is one of the most important threats to our planet. It is a global issue that is commonly seen in all countries. For which all the countries of the world are considerate and are taking important steps for its protection.

World Environment Day (5 June), Ozone Day (16 September), Water Day (22 March), Earth Day (22 April), Biodiversity Day (22 May) etc. are celebrated to increase and spread awareness towards the environment.

Harmful substances and polluted environment affecting the environment create pollution. All types of pollutions such as air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, thermal pollution, radioactive pollution, and other environmental pollution fall into a wide range of pollution.

Due to climate change, greenhouse effect and increase in global temperature, decay of ozone layer, acid rain, landslides, soil erosion etc. are things which are said to pollute the environment. Man has exploited the wealth of nature at the cost of himself and environmental health. Furthermore, the effect that is now rapidly emerging is due to the activities of humans over hundreds or thousands of years.

Above all, if we want to survive on earth and continue our life, we have to take measures. These measures will help in securing the future of our next generation as well as us.
