Electronic Music Composition System based on Midi

Abstract

At present, MIDI music is mostly produced by PC. This paper mainly introduces how to make and play MIDI music based on AT89C51. This system introduces that MIDI message is generated by single chip microcomputer and communicates with midley MIDI music module through serial port RS232. This music module is equivalent to music synthesizer, which can decode MIDI message and execute MIDI message, so as to generate waveform and send it to loudspeaker to send music. The system can realize disco, waltz, tango and other common rhythms. With bass and chord, the speed of rhythm can be adjusted and displayed.
