Abstract

Deployable solid-surface reflector antenna is widely used in space observation and
communication tasks because of its high surface accuracy. In order to further develop the package
performance, the design explore function of software ADAMS is employed to carry out the parameter
optimal study of the mechanism design for a kind of petal-type deployable solid-surface reflector structure.
Based on the biaxial petal-type deployable solid-surface reflector, the package ratio of this deployable
structure is optimized to 0.32 and the design is generated for the uniaxial petal-type deployable solid-surface
reflector. The influence and parameter optimal analyses of the revolute axis position and the consolidation
point position of the supporting bar and the petal on the reflector surface accuracy is studied. This paper has
a great reference value for the design and analysis of this kind of deployed solid-surface antennas.
