Ethnic Sports Items Classification Research Based on Fuzzy Cluster Analysis

Abstract

In recent years, China enhanced national strength while it also highlighted traditional cultural
importance. In the past, Chinese ethnic sports items were divided into nine major types, in real life, ethnic
sports items need to make classification according to researched problems. It needs to reflect the whole
classification process for rationality of classification. The paper selects six items representative Chinese ethnic
sports items as examples, utilizes fuzzy cluster analysis method, it makes classification from amount of
international master sportsmen, amount of master sportsmen, amount of first grade sportsmen, and amount of
second grade sportsmen these four aspects. Major in manual computation, and uses Matlab programming
software to draw fuzzy cluster analysis figure. By the figure verifying, it shows computation result accuracy
