Abstract

Research has been conducted on the influence and mechanism of information contact and noninstitutionalized political participation, the relationship between sports nationalism and information contact and the influence of sports nationalism on noninstitutionalized political participation. This research has shown that compared with nonofficial information, official information channels are relatively rational and objective and have no direct effect on noninstitutionalized political participation, but official information contact can lead to social noninstitutionalized political participation through sports nationalism, while nonofficial information contact can certainly affect the degree of suppression of sports nationalism. Therefore, to avoid sports nationalism leading to noninstitutional political participation in society, it is recommended that official media information transmission should focus on emotional transfer control and moderately increase the pressure of nonofficial media information on people's social emotions.
