The Influence of Compensation and Workload on Job Satisfaction of Employees in PT X.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to analyze the compensation and workload on job satisfaction of the employees. This research was conducted at PT.X with the number of respondents are 36 employees, which is the total number of employees in PT.X. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The data is collected using a questionnaire that has been tested for its validity and reliability. The method in this research used data analysis techniques to test hypotheses using descriptive analysis techniques and verification analysis to determine the influence of compensation and workload on job satisfaction of employees in PT.X. The compensation provided by the company to PT.X employees showed good quality. The workload is given by the company to PT.X employees showed good quality. However, the job satisfaction of employees in PT.X. still showed a fairly good quality, this was due to the communication, career opportunities and work environment that show sufficient quality. Based on the results of the verification analysis, it was known that the influence of the compensation variable on job satisfaction by 12.5% falls into the category of less close influence. While the influence of workload on job satisfaction of 36.9% falls into the category of quite close influence. Compensation and workload simultaneously have a strong influence on job satisfaction of employees in PT.X.
