Abstract

This study explored underlying relationships between measured variables of a scaled instrument, including the relationship between observed variables and their underlying latent constructs exist in the instrument using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) in a sample of N=61 and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) in a sample of individuals (N=108) who experienced career change. There were no available career change questionnaires on the web, so the Researcher has created a 20-item questionnaire to understand the perceptions of respondents. Although the data suggest that three items were to be removed, the overall measure of Sampling Adequacy was considered great. The factor loading indicates that the 17-item self-made questionnaires are indeed for a career change. A Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was further conducted, which suggests that the data was a good model fit.
