Abstract

V.O.C.s are those air pollutants in the gaseous state, which are present in the atmosphere. It has been reported that around 200 VOCs were identified as harmful as many of them are categorized as hazardous pollutants. They contain benzene, toluene, and aromatic hydrocarbons, which are mainly fuel for injecting, causing many dangerous diseases in the nervous system of humans. Referring to hazardous organic particles, benzene, toluene, xylene, trimethylbenzene, dichlorobenzene, tetrachloroethylene, and sulfur compounds are the main elements of sewage treatment plants (S.T.P.s) that are emitted during the treatment process.
