Inhibiting Factors to Public Service Performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Maros Regency

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the factors inhibiting the performance of public services at the Office of Population and Civil Registration of Maros Regency. This research uses qualitative methods with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in the study were interviews and observations. The results showed that the inhibiting factors for the performance of public services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of Maros Regency which were considered poor were individual factors, leadership factors, work team factors and organizational culture factors were not achieved due to various factors that made work results not optimal so that various complaints from the community were an illustration that public services have not provided results as expected and services are still minimal due to a bad organizational culture so that the Office of Population and Civil Registration of Maros Regency has not carried out their duties optimally due to weaknesses in terms of organizational culture. good work results due to the implementation of tasks that are not optimal in achieving goals, a lack of balance that is applied to carry out the work so that it makes it easier to achieve goals.
