An Analysis of “The Great Derangement” as a novel of Evironmental Degradation

Abstract

In the past few decades there are a lot of changes happening on the earth’s atmosphere especially
the unusual warming of the planet which has resulted in climate change and the main reason for this is
observed to be the careless activity of the human beings. If this is ignored and not given importance it
causes an irreparable threat to human civilization and the planet as a whole. It is a pity that we are on the
beginning of a frightening new era and never before in the history has humankind's abuse of the
environment put the whole planet in danger. We have already been exposed to mass-destruction in the name
of war and weapons but this abuse to the environment by human beings have become the greatest threat to
our planet. This research paper tries to bring the bare reality that we may not continue to enjoy the resources
on the earth as it is losing its worth due to the careless behavior of mankind
