Study on PDCA-based Performance Management System for University Teachers

Abstract

It is to propose a kind of performance management system based on PDCA model on account of the current poor quality and low efficiency of traditional performance management system for university teachers. In the system, the overall process management from planning, implantation, checking to feedback has been fulfilled by means of process optimization of the performance management system for university teachers. It is very helpful to realize high-efficient performance management and effectively promote the construction of Wushu teachers. [approach/process]: Firstly, the research idea and technical process of the system are explained; then, the function/data matrix are adopted to design the modularized program structure of the basic functions to enhance the independence of the module, diminishing the information coupling between each module; and at last, the PDCA-based performance management system for university teachers are built and implemented on the basis of the system foundation. [result/conclusion] It has inspired the university teachers’ knowledge and potentiality, strengthened their senses of belonging and loyalty, improved the professional quality of Wushu teachers and scientifically construct the Wushu characteristic talent training system integrated deeply with modern apprenticeship.
