Coupling Development Path of Cultural Industry and Tourism Industry Based on SVM Data Association Analysis

Abstract

The coupling development of cultural industry (CI) and tourism industry has become a trend. This paper studies the coupling development path of CI and tourism industry based on support vector machine (SVM) data association analysis. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China, this paper empirically studies the regional differences of the coupling relationship between CI and tourism industry. In this paper, the support vector machine algorithm is used to process the panel data and calculate the correlation between the data. The results show that the long-term coupling relationship between the tourism industry and the CI is significant, but the short-term coupling relationship has obvious differences; the CI in the western region has an obvious supporting effect on the tourism industry, but the effect of the tourism industry on the CI is not obvious. Therefore, different regions should take appropriate measures to promote the coupling development of regional CI and tourism industry.
