Development and Protection of Folk Sports Tourism Resources Based on GIS

Abstract

This paper describes the composition and function of geographic information system (GIS). On this basis, this paper expounds the main role and application status of GIS in the development and protection of folk sports tourism resources. In this paper, the functions of GIS technology and its application in tourism industry at home and abroad are described by literature review and logical analysis. At the same time, the progress of GIS technology in foreign folk sports tourism research is analyzed. Then, this paper analyzes the key technologies and existing problems in the implementation of tourism geographic information system (TGIS), and designs the structure and function of TGIS. Finally, with the help of GIS technology, the related geographic information data of folk sports tourism is digitized, and the folk sports tourism related model and folk sports tourism system are established. The system puts folk sports natural resources and folk sports human resources on the market as products, which promotes the development of folk sports tourism.
