Analysis of College English Teaching Quality Based on Data Mining Technology

Abstract

Faced with the problems of “time-consuming and inefficient” and “dumb English” in College English teaching, in order to change the current situation, we must start with the current college English teaching quality evaluation system. Based on the English language benchmark, this paper aims to reform the current college English teaching evaluation in China. This paper constructs a more reasonable English teaching quality evaluation system to comprehensively improve the quality of College English teaching. This paper adopts data mining algorithm to analyze college students' English learning and classroom efficiency, and puts forward an evaluation standard of English classroom teaching quality based on data association, so as to improve college students' comprehensive ability of using English. Based on the principles of total quality management, target management and teaching evaluation theory, this paper discusses the establishment of English teaching quality monitoring system with teaching evaluation as the core by using the method of data mining. The results show that the evaluation system proposed in this paper can improve the accuracy of English classroom teaching effect evaluation, so as to enhance the effectiveness of English teaching. This method has a certain reference value for the analysis of College English teaching quality based on data mining technology.
