Analysis of College English Teaching Based on Big Data Technology

Abstract

The advent of the era of big data has spawned a new teaching mode driven by big data in College English teaching. The traditional teacher centered teaching mode can not meet the needs of social development and the improvement of College Students' quality. Therefore, how to use big data to provide support for learners and promote the development of English learning has become an important topic worthy of in-depth study. This paper points out the ways to improve college English Teaching in the era of big data from the aspects of teaching staff construction, curriculum, teaching mode, teaching resources, learning evaluation, etc. At the same time, this paper discusses and analyzes the new mode and means of College English teaching which is conducive to big data analysis, in order to improve the current teaching strategies and teaching activities. The results show that college English teaching based on big data technology can meet students' personalized learning needs.
