Abstract

The working of the H.265/HEVC video compression standard design is used for real time video applications with some of the design constraints and thereby improving the design metrics are speed and throughput. The current research work object at improving the video compression accuracy which is useful for real time applications by modifying the blocks like inverse discrete cosine transforms, inverse quantizer, control and transpose memory of the encoder and decoder circuits. The synthesis followed by physical design implemented in Genus tool using 45nm technology. Comparisons were made between the existing codec designs with power, area and timing with performance. Results are procured exposition a high performance improvement in the conventional video compression system when compared with new design metrics and power consumption.
