The Role of Computing Systems in the Online School Program for Children with ASD during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused all children to study at home, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), this is not easy for all parties, parents, teachers, and professionals must collaborate in realizing quality education for children with ASD and the educational process this can only be done online or it is called distance learning.This short article advances the academic and behavioral development of children with ASD through distance learning. This study uses a qualitative approach by interviewing 8 parents who have children with ASD. The results of the interview were analyzed in order to find the progress of children with ASD. The article provides insight into how to strategy educates children with ASD in a pandemic online.
