Research and Development of Air Conditioning Controller for Pure Electric Vehicle Based on Fuzzy Control Algorithm

Abstract

—Pure electric vehicle has the advantages of less energy consumption, no exhaust emission and
low noise, which has been paid more and more attention by people. The lack of battery capacity of pure
electric vehicle leads to its short cruising range, which is one of the important factors restricting its
development, while the use of electrical accessories of the body further reduces the cruising range of pure
electric vehicle. As the second largest energy consuming equipment in automobile, the efficiency of air
conditioning system will affect the performance and cruising range of the whole automobile. Nowadays,
people pay attention to the quality of life, protect the environment and save energy. Users have put forward
the requirements of more simple operation, more comfortable, environmental protection and low
consumption to the contemporary automobile. The air conditioning controller of pure electric vehicle must
meet the requirements of energy saving and load while meeting the refrigeration performance, so as to
increase the driving range and ensure the power performance of the vehicle.
